Allergies and Toofs!

Well, Edie is past the five month mark. I forgot to do a Happy Birthday post, and I am starting to lose track of how many weeks old she is. But I do remember to feed her most days, so all is not lost.

The family had a bit of a rough weekend. Billy's allergies are acting up, causing him to chew on his front paws until they bleed. This causes me to clean his wounds and wrap them up so he can't cannibalize himself further. And this, in turn, causes him to limp around the house, occasionally letting out a long sigh and falling to the floor in a poodle-puddle. Will's allergies have been bad too. He took a Benadryl with decongestant on Friday night, and proceeded to hallucinate all night due to the pseudoephedrine. The highlights were waking me up by standing over me and frantically asking if I wanted my iPhone, and jumping out of bed when Billy coughed to exclaim "Billy, you've got to stop this!! Don't do this!!" Once he detoxed from that, Will ate peanuts which is inadvisable when one has a peanut allergy. So, more Benadryl, bad stomach aches, but thankfully no Epipen needed.

Edie has been a bit of a mess herself, stuck in a bad case of crabbypants-itis. But her problem may have be resolved, as today she chomped down on my finger to reveal her first tooth! Very exciting indeed. (picture of blurry E was my best attempt to get a pic.)

So baby is feeling better, and hopefully Will and Billy can get their acts together. Because I'm too tired to lead this ship alone, and we're not getting anywhere good if Sugar is in charge.
