I'm having one of those days where you are tapped into an appreciation for the joy and beauty around you, and since I have a whopping one friend here besides Will, well, you all have to suffer through my sap. Jokes aside, Munich is a fantastic place. The history and architecture, coupled with a sense of almost coziness that comes from being a smaller city that is filled with friendly beer gardens, playgrounds and flowers. Today, I took a walk through the Hofgarten, and it was exceptionally lovely so I thought I'd share some pictures from that. There was even an opera singer performing on the grounds, just to beat the idyllic-ness into any thick skulls that were trying to resist it.
It is a beautiful town. You will miss that aspect of Munich when you return. It's so totally different from our little cities and suburbs.
